GALLERY - members' turning

Photos of items made by members during the coronavirus outbreak, when club meetings were cancelled and we were all "locked down" at home.

Club members - to add photos simply email them as an attachment, preferably with a few details, to the secretary Lance Garrard, or to Steve Fearnley. The ideal size is around 800 x 600 pixels, though anywhere close to this is fine.

To keep down the number of photos on each page, I have split them into months:

One of Peter Howell's other hobbies is 3D printing. There are some notes on printing visors for care homes, and a link to thingiverse, where there are a few pictures of items Peter has made.

Things I have made in my workshop ...

Lance suggested we send in photos of things not necessarily made during the lockdown. He set the bar rather high with his church cross - pictures on 7 May, but don't be daunted - send in some photos.

Steve Fearnley. Wands based on those of Harry Potter's friends and enemies, made for my granddaughters. Creating involved carving, ebonising, pyrography - and woodturning. 10 to 14 inches long. It was hard work finding phoenix feathers and dragon's heartstrings to put in their core.
